A WOMAN allegedly spat in a police officer's face as she was arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs.
On Friday, August 7, police were called to an address on Leigh Road, Eastleigh, at around 7.30pm.
Officers were called to reports of an assault but while on-scene did not find any evidence that an assault had taken place.
A woman at the address was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs. During the arrest, the woman spat in an officers face.
A 45-year-old woman from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency services worker and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday, October 1.
No further action was taken in relation to the drug charges.
