Amari Bakayoko scored twice as Jake Ash’s Seagulls ran out 5-0 winners over the Dron at the Underlane.

Bakayoko opened the scoring after 12 minutes when he latched onto a lofted ball before firing it past home ‘keeper Alex Prynn.

The same man made it two on 33 minutes after Hayden Turner raced in and shot past Prynn, with the cannoning against the near post and falling kindly for the striker to tap into the empty net.

It was three before the break as turner surged to the byline inside the box and pulled it back for Tallan Mitchell, who arrowed the ball into the far corner from the right-hand side of the box.

Prynn was forced off with an injury early in the second half and was replaced by Mousehole’s own substitute ‘keeper, and he managed a few good saves from his own team-mates’ efforts as the half wore on.

But the resistance was broken again six minutes from time when Turner, keen to make up for a shocking miss in front of an open goal a couple of minutes earlier, did brilliantly to dance past two defenders before unleashing a powerful effort past the stand-in ‘keeper.

Barely two minutes passed before the fifth and final goal arrived, with a free kick being turned in by Kieran Toland.
