A heifer was rescued minutes before she gave birth to a calf on Tuesday (September 8).
The pregnant cow had become stuck in the mud in her field in Congresbury, north Somerset, and needed urgent attention.
Firecrews and vets were called to help on Tuesday morning.
Crews from Yatton, Weston-super-Mare and Bedminster attended, together with vets from Langford Vets.
It was a very happy ending, as she gave birth shortly after reaching solid ground.
