Police have shared a photo of a man they believe might have vital information about a serious assault in Falmouth.

Officers investigating the incident in the town centre now hope someone will be able to identify the man they would like to speak with.

The assault is alleged to have taken place on The Moor on Sunday, July 19.

It is said to have happened between 1.30am and 2am, outside the Seven Stars pub.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The victim, a man in his 40s, received visible injuries and a dislocated shoulder as a result of the assault.

"Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have information vital to the investigation."
