Almost £6,500 has now been raised by bikers from across Cornwall who took part in this year's adapted Martin Jennings Memorial Motorcycle Run.
The annual event commemorates the life of Beacon man Martin Jennings, who died in the 1987 Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man, as well as all other Cornish riders who have lost their lives.
It usually begins en masse in Truro and ends at Falmouth Rugby Club with a celebratory gathering, but this year Dave Saunby, who has organised the ride since the first event in 1988, developed a 'rolling run' for Sunday, with riders joining at various locations, to help keep people safe in the current conditions.
The 80-mile run began and ended in Falmouth, taking in Truro, Laddock, Fraddon, the A30, Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross, Camborne and Helston before returning to Falmouth.

Writing on the event page afterwards, Mr Saunby said: "What can I say but a huge thank you to all the bikers that took part in today's Memorial Rolling Run, and I was very humbled by the turn out of bikers from across the county, and beyond, and I thank you very much for making this years run a success.
"I must admit that I got a little bit emotional when I saw all the bikes waiting for the run, at Penryn, Perranarworthal, Tresillian and Innis Downs.
"The 'rolling run' was a totally new thing for me, having never done it before without stopping, but in the end after months of organising, bearing in mind the government legislation on mass gatherings, it seemed to be a great success with just about everyone dispersing at the finish.

"How many took part is unsure, but by looking at the videos people have posted we must have been close to 1,000 bikes, bearing in mind that some were coming and going - a magnificent effort by all concerned."
Mr Saunby gave special thanks to the Martin Jennings Marshals Association (MJMA), saying without them the run would be "just about impossible to stage."
He also thanked members of the Cornwall Triumph Owners Group who stepped in as cover for regular members of the MJMA unable to marshal, Robin Louvel of Liskeard for providing breakdown cover on the day with his converted minibus and the police motorcyclists assigned to generally oversee the run.

"As far as I am aware there were no incidents to report, and that everyone rode within the spirit of the occasion," added Mr Saunby.
Finally he thanked the spectators who turned out to watch the run from bridges, gardens and laybys, with quite a few residents in Beacon Square in Martin's home village, where riders sounded their horns as they rode through.
