FIREFIGHTERS have spent the night tackling a barn fire in west Cornwall.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Boscaswell Downs at Pendeen at around 11pm on Monday.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The barn measured 10x10 metres and appliances from St Just, Penzance and a water carrier from Helston were mobilised to the scene.
"The barn contained wood and firefighters used two main jets to prevent the fire spreading to a tractor in the barn. Firefighters have remained on scene all night preventing the spread of the barn.
"Police are attending this incident as the cause is unknown."
