THE family of a missing Truro woman have been informed after a body was found in the sea at Portland, Dorset, on Tuesday.
Devon and Cornwall Police said that the discovery was made at around 10.40am.
A spokesperson added: "Formal identification is yet to take place, but the family of Julia Williams have been informed of the discovery.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
The car belonging to 24-year-old Julia Williams was discovered parked in Budleigh Salterton, east Devon, in the early hours of September 5, but she has not been found.
