His weekly Thursday singalongs kept people going through lockdown and now Falmouth musician Will Keating is bringing it back for one night only.

Thousands of people tuned in each week on Facebook to see Will sing much-loved song Cornwall My Home after the Thursday night Clap For Our Carers during April and beyond.

It all began with Rachel Gerred-Hart and Shelley Peters from Penryn coming up with the idea of a Voices of the Borough event to bring the community together in song - but this grew to become Doorstep Voices after people from outside the town showed interest in taking part.

The result was people from countries around the world tuning it just after 8pm each Thursday to hear Will sing, often accompanied by his family from their Falmouth home.

Now, with the country facing uncertainty again over the spread of coronavirus once more, Will is returning tonight (Thursday) from 7.30pm for an hour of songs, along with a few special guests.

They can be watched live on the 'Voices of the Borough "pick me up"' event page on Facebook.

Rachel said: "As it's raining, the nights are drawing in, and we have just as much uncertainty as we did before, we thought we would throw you a bit of Will Keating as a pick me up.

"From his home to yours - with special guests!"
