The Alverton are opening the doors to their Great Hall for lots of autumn entertainment throughout November.
The four silver star hotel in Truro will be hosting a range of events, from a winter session with Our Atlantic Roots, afternoon tea parties and festive surprises to gin-tastic demos with Tarquin’s and a brand new wine and cheese night series.
Here is what is going on over the next few weeks:
Friday, November 6 – The Alverton Winter Session: Our Atlantic Roots
Following on from a successful season of Summer Garden Sessions that ended with Voice UK 2019 winner Molly Hocking, The Alverton are now launching their first Winter Session. Saturday, November 7 – The Alverton’s Autumn Afternoon Tea Party
The Alverton will be holding a special afternoon tea sitting in The Great Hall with pianist Roger Miners who will be entertaining everyone with his wonderful musical talents. Thursday, November 12 – The Alverton’s Wine and Cheese Night: The World of Italian Wines
A special wine and cheese evening is coming to Truro from 6pm-8pm in the Great Hall. Alverton wine supplier and expert Carl Burdett will be talking all things Italian tipples, and pouring six glasses of vino from Italy to match six delicious cheeses hand-selected by James Greet from The Greet Cheese. Friday, November 20 – The Great Hall Gin Club: An Evening with Tarquin’s

Sunday, 22nd November 22 – The Alverton’s Festive Afternoon Tea Party
For an early preview of The Alverton’s famous festive afternoon tea with a special twist, make sure you get this date in the diary. Pianist Roger Miners will be setting the mood with all your favourite carols and festive renditions as you tuck into yuletide treats.
