Provedore, the popular neighbourhood delicatessen, trattoria and off-licence in Falmouth, is celebrating its 13th birthday by "returning to its roots."

Initially starting as a neighbourhood delicatessen importing specialist lines straight from Italy and Spain, owners Bev and Tim have over the years morphed the business into a busy daytime cafe with a pop-up tapas bar at weekends.

Alongside the deli range they also serve barista coffee and light lunches.

Now the business, based at Trelawney Road, is "going full circle" and focusing back on the delicatessen days of stocking an eclectic array of handsome provisions to cook with, a growing range of wine, beers and spirits.

They also prepare takeaway breakfast brioches, lunches and "heat and eat" meals ready to heat at home.

Provedore's Bev and Tim said: "We want to give a big thank you for the tremendous support from the local and extended community and past staff members over the years, who have each brought their own individual and special contributions."

They added that they looked forward to welcoming old and new customers alike in their 'new old' guise.
