A new craft gin especially for the town of Falmouth has recently been launched.

Falmouth Black Rock Gin is the latest Cornish gin launched by Falmouth company The Juniper Club.

Distilled locally, the gin celebrates the history and geography of the town of Falmouth, with the bottle featuring a stunning hand-drawn image of the entrance to Falmouth harbour.

Co-director of The Juniper Club Lisa Plummer, who has family roots in Falmouth, said: "It has long been a dream to launch a gin for Falmouth. Celebrating the beacon of Falmouth harbour and the history of the town was important as this is something locals and visitors, particularly sailors and rowers, can associate with as a local landmark.

"Falmouth Black Rock is a classic gin, perfect for a traditional gin and tonic served with ice and lemon, light and crisp but still juniper forward, this is a true gin-drinkers gin."

Lisa, along with co-director Kate Arnold, has been delighted to be able to launch a craft gin that Falmouth can call its own, having sold Cornish gin in The Juniper Club store since it opened in August 2019.

Falmouth Black Rock Gin is available exclusively from The Juniper Club store in Church Street, Falmouth.
