Two women have appeared in court facing new charges following the death of Falmouth man Aaron Pill.

Brea Coggin, aged 22 of Avalon Close, Mylor Bridge, and Georgia Potter, aged 50 of Meadowbank, Mylor Bridge, both appeared before magistrates in Bodmin on Thursday accused of assisting an offender.

Neither woman entered a plea and their cases were adjourned until November 20, when they will appear before Truro Crown Court.

It is the latest development in an investigation by police into the death of 25-year-old Aaron Pill in Falmouth's Tresawle Road back in May.

Two men have already been charged with murder in relation to his death.

Kane Coggin, aged 27, of Meadowbank, Mylor Bridge and Liam Bastow, aged 24, of Avalon Close, Mylor Bridge are due to face trial on November 16, after both entering not guilty pleas to the charge.
