Fire broke out at a children's play park in Helston last night after equipment was set alight.
Flames could be seen surrounding the large bucket swing in the park at Bulwark just after 10pm.
Witnesses say they think the equipment was set alight on purpose.
Damage has now been caused to both the swing and the surrounding area.
Firefighters arrived within minutes of it being reported to put out the fire and make the area safe.

Alex Morgan, who spotted the fire on his way home from work and called 999, praised the response of the fire crew.
He said: "They were there very quickly and did an amazing job."
He added that the swing unfortunately appeared to be destroyed, with the floor underneath "burnt to a crisp".
