A police officer in Cornwall charged with misconduct has had his case transferred to the crown court.
PC Christopher Wilson, an officer with Devon and Cornwall Police, appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court earlier today (Wednesday, October 28).
It was over an alleged incident that is said to have taken place at Launceston in December 2018.
The 43-year-old is facing a charge of misconduct in public office.
He entered no plea to the charge and was committed to Exeter Crown Court, where he is next due to appear on November 27.
PC Wilson is currently suspended from duty.
