"We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter," the police said in a statement.
Police became increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mr Dalkins after he was last seen leaving the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, Truro on the afternoon of Thursday 12 wearing only flip flops, grey top and dark trousers .
He had links to St Ives and St Austell. He was also known to frequent rural areas away from people and may have been sleeping rough.
