A framework to shape the next 30 years in Cornwall will be discussed by councillors when the full Cornwall Council meets virtually next week.
The Cornwall We Want plan was drawn up after one of the largest consultation exercises in the authority’s history.
It commits to creating a cleaner, greener and more fair and inclusive Cornwall, with key goals including becoming plastic-free and carbon-neutral, ending street homelessness and a real living wage for every job.
Other items on next Tuesday’s agenda include a discussion on tolls on the Tamar Bridge and proposals to change the call-in procedure for the council.
A motion for debate on the issue of free-school meals and child poverty has also been submitted ahead of the meeting.
The meeting will be held online on Microsoft teams, and will start at 10am. Go to the Cornwall Council website for the link.
