A GANG of thugs who broke into a house and beat a person inside so badly they were seriously injured, are being sought by police.
Police were called to Tredour Road, Newquay 11.40pm on November 20 to reports of a group of people trying to break into a house .
Police said during the break-in the occupant of the premises was so seriously injured they had to receive immediate medical attention .
Police are appealing for neighbours and the public to contact them if they have any information that may be of value to the investigation.
This includes CCTV, anyone seen in the area at the time of the offence and any information they may have that would assist the police in locating the people involved.
