An 82-year-old man who died after being found with serious head injuries in Camborne has been named.
Police said that Barrie Forster died yesterday (Thursday, November 26) after being taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital last Friday (November 20).
He had been found at his home on Gurneys Mews with head and facial injuries.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Now Mr Forster’s daughter has paid tribute to her father, saying that she dearly loved him and that he will be "truly missed".
Enquiries are currently ongoing to determine the cause of death and a forensic post-mortem will be carried out.
Police revealed yesterday that Steven Forster, aged 39 and from Camborne, has been charged with Section 18 GBH following the death of the 82-year-old.
He was arrested on Friday, November 20 and has been remanded in custody to appear before Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, December 22.
