One person has been airlifted to hospital and a second taken by ambulance following a suspected hit and run between Falmouth and Truro this morning.
Police have confirmed that a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle took place at Perranwell Station, just before 9am.
A spokesperson said the vehicle had subsequently driven off, but was later found on its roof in a different location.
The pedestrian, understood locally to be a woman walking her dog, was airlifted to hospital. She is understood to have been flown to Derriford.
The driver was also taken separately to hospital, by ambulance.
There is no information about their injuries at this time.
Traffic reports showed that Greenwith Road at Perranwell Station had been closed between Silver Hill and Greenwith Hill following the incident near to the train station.
However, the road has since reopened in both directions and traffic has returned to normal.
