The St Mawes Ferry has cancelled today due to the weather conditions but the King Harry Ferry will continue operating.
A shortage of train crew means that a reduced service is running between Truro and Falmouth Docks today.
Most of the power supplies back on in the Helston TR13 area after power cuts last night, but Western Power says it was working to restore the remaining properties by approximately 4am this morning.

Polar winds will make the start to the bank holiday feel very cold as Storm Bella turns wintry and moves southwards bringing with it sleet.
The winds could be quite gusty and it will be very cold with temperatures at between -2c and 5c.
As the morning progresses there will be a few sunny spells but the wind chill will make it feel a lot colder than it is in the afternoon with it feeling like -4c to +2c.
