Part of the main road between Helston and Penzance was closed this lunchtime following a crash.
Police warned of a collision on the A394, between the Stopgate turning to Porthleven and the entrance to Breage.
Just one vehicle was involved in the crash, which took place on the stretch of road under the trees before the bend to Stopgate.
It was affecting traffic heading towards Helston from Breage and the Penzance direction.
Falmouth and Helston Police have warned: "The Helston bound lane will be closed for an hour."
The warning came at 1pm, but the traffic reports were showing the road still closed at 2.20pm. However, people who have driven along the road said it is now clear of vehicles.
Traffic monitoring system INRIX reported: "A394 both ways partially blocked, busy but moving due to accident from Trewithick Road to B3304. Note change of location.
"Affecting travel from Breage to Helston."
