Following the government’s roadmap announcement that outdoor cinemas can re-open from May 17, Adventure Cinema has announced a new socially spacious tour which will include Falmouth.

Offering guests the chance to enjoy the magic of the movies this spring and beyond, Falmouth Rugby Club will be hosting two nights on the tour when they will be screening The Goonies and Grease Sing-A-Long on July 29 and 30 respectively at 9.30pm.

Stopping at some of the UK’s most scenic spaces, the open-air events invite friends and families up and down the country to pack their favourite picnics, pick their cosiest blankets, and watch great films under the sun and the stars, all in a socially spacious and safe environment.

To ensure the safety of its events without hampering the magic of the cinema, Adventure Cinema has chosen socially spacious, open-air venues for the entirety of the UK-wide tour.

When entering each venue, groups will be guided to their picnic space by friendly stewards, who will seat people safely away from other groups. Other measures include wide aisles to the left, right and centre of the event space, allowing people to safely move around, and regularly cleaned, individual toilet units with hand sanitising stations outside. So whether picnicking with pals or enjoying a big family outing, visitors can rest assured that they’re in a safe space.
