Castle Beach Cafe has announced that it is planning to reopen on Monday March 29 with takeaway service only.
However, they won't be able to provide seating until April 12 under Boris Johnson's new route out of lockdown.
There will be a restricted menu, reduced staffing and mask wearing only but as the weathedr improves there will be plenty of room on the beach.

"Hello lovely people of Castle Beach.
"I hope you are all safe and well and enjoying the occasional glimpses of Spring that we seem to be getting now.
"I just wanted to pop by and let you know that I plan to re-open the cafe on Monday 29th March. This will be a takeaway only service - I can’t provide any seating until at least 12th April according to the government’s current plan.
"I had hoped that we might manage something approaching normality this year but it looks like it will still be a restricted menu, reduced staffing and masks all round.
"On the plus side we will be here in time for Easter to supply you with amazing coffee, cakes, sandwiches, pasties and more (I’m working on a manageable menu as we speak).
"I can’t wait to see you all - I have missed your beautiful faces and (mostly ) good humour. I’ll post more updates as things move along."
