The Cornish Pirates get their season underway this coming weekend with a visit from former Premiership side Saracens.

Next weekend the Pirates will play their first away game of the season against newly promoted Richmond at the Athletic Ground.

In game week three, Bedford Blues will make the 632 mile round trip to Cornwall for their clash on March 20.

The following weekend, The Pirates will make their longest trip of the season, a 736 mile round tip to Castle Park to face Doncaster Knights.

After a reserve week, Pirates will be back at the Mennaye Field for their fifth game of the season, coming up against Ealing Trailfinders.

Moving into the second half of the season, Pirates make the long trip to Nottingham, the last time these sides met in March last year, Pirates came out 21-15 victors.

The Penzance sides penultimate home game of the season is against Bedfordshire outfit, Ampthill.

On May 1, Pirates will travel the 285 miles to Coventry as the season enters the closing stages.

The Mennaye will play hosts to Hartpury University RFC on May 15 for the final home game of the season.

Pirates will conclude their season with a trip to the Channel Islands to face Jersey Reds on May 29 when there is hope that fans may be able to return to stadiums.

The weekends of June 12 and 19 have been set aside for play-off finals 1 and 2 respectively should the Pirates reach them.
