The number of areas still showing cases on the Government's cluster map has fallen to single figures.
It's as the seven-day total of cases in the week leading up to March 5 comes in at 73 – a reduction of 50 on the previous week's figures, representing a 40.7% drop.
The most recent five days are not shown due to incomplete data.
The rolling rate has also decreased further to just 12.8 cases per 100,000 people – down from 21.5 cases per 100,000 people a week ago.
Just eight areas of Cornwall are now showing three or more cases on the Covid map: St Just & Land’s End (4), Helston (3), Camborne South (5), Camborne East (3), St Day & Lanner (3), Truro South & Central (5), Bodmin West (7), Callington & Pensilva (3)
This is half the number that were showing at the weekend, with 17 clusters identified on Saturday's map.
The map only shows clusters when there are at least three confirmed results, with anywhere with between zero and two cases shows white in order to "protect the privacy of individuals and prevent disclosure."
Of these, just two have seen a rise in the number of cases week-on-week: Truro (up three cases) and Bodmin West (up five cases).
The map shows positive cases by 'Middle Super Output Area' - the name the government gives to the break-up of larger towns and groups of neighbouring towns and villages, with groupings covering a greater area than others.
The minimum population in each area is 5,000 and the average is 7,200.
