A man has been reported to court after a road traffic collision with a lampost at The Furry in Helston last night (Wednesday).
It closed the road for around two hours, while police attended and the vehicle was recovered.
The collision is reported to have happened at around 8pm with two men leaving the scene on foot, according to police.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police received a report of a collision between a car and a lamppost on the A394, Helston, at around 7.50pm on Wednesday March 10, with two male occupants leaving the scene on foot.
"A 31-year-old man, believed to be the driver, subsequently voluntarily attended the police station and was reported to court for driving without due care and attention and failing to report an RTC."
