Cornwall's narrow country lanes have left many a driver in a fix, especially when it comes to reversing – but for one motorist this week even going forwards proved to be a problem, at the worst possible moment.
This picture shows a car getting wedged between two hedges near Camborne earlier this week – while it was being followed by police.
The dark-coloured estate car can be seen with the brake lights on as the person behind the wheel realises they can go no further.
It resulted in an abrupt end to the pursuit, with the suspected driver said to be now helping police with their enquiries.

The photo was posted to Twitter by officers from the Devon and Cornwall Police Roads Policing Team, following the incident in the Camborne area on Wednesday afternoon.
Using the hashtag 'Nowhere to go', the team said: "The driver of this vehicle found it a tight squeeze during a pursuit in the Camborne area this afternoon.
"No injuries to any party but the suspected driver is now helping us with enquiries."
