Popular Cornish theme park, Flambards, has announced its reopening dates ahead of the coming half-term.

The theme park, which is based in Helston, will be officially re-opening on Monday April 12 and will continue to operate through until April 18.

It will also continue to open its doors May Bank Holiday Weekend & May half term as well as throughout July and August and October half-term.

The theme park has also stated it will be open every Wednesday and for weekends too.

Flambards has also stated that, due to Covid-19 safety measures, they will be operating at a reduced capacity and all visitors are being advised to pre-book online.

Social distancing measures will still be in operation and some indoor areas of the park will remain closed until further easing of government restrictions.

Attractions that will remain closed include Space Race, Demon Drop, Exploratorium Indoor and Outdoor play areas, The Victorian Village, and Britain in the Blitz.

The park has indicated that it expects to be able to reopen these attractions from May 18 2021, however, this would depend on government advice at the time.

Visitors will also be required to provide and wear a facemask in all indoor areas including attractions, shops and catering outlets and masks are recommended on many rides.

Firework spectaculars are also seemingly on the cards come August, however, the park will be releasing further details with regards to these closer to the time.

Staff will also be following a series of enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures throughout the park and queue markers will be in place to help visitors keep an appropriate distance apart.
