Good news for church-goers this Easter as Helston and Penzance churches are set to reopen.
St Michael’s, which is located in Helston, will be opening its doors again, just in time for Easter.
There will be services in church at 7:30pm on Monday, Thursday at 2pm on Good Friday and at 8am and 9:30am on Easter Sunday.
Porthleven, Breage and Germoe Churches will also be reopening Germoe’s Thursday service is at 7 00pm; Porthleven’s Good Friday Stations of the Cross takes place at 12 noon.
Sunday services in all the churches that will be open will take place at their usual times.
It is also hoped that Wendron Church will be able to open for Sunday worship as soon as possible, however, due to current circumstances it is not possible to say when exactly at this moment.
Canon David Miller said: "I would like to pay tribute to our churchwarden, Bevan Osborne, and other hardworking people at Wendron Church for their strenuous efforts as we work towards opening.
"I will let you know which Sunday the church will be able to reopen as soon as I can."
