It even has its own detached pool house with swimming pool and sauna.

Briton's Slip occupies a unique waterfront position with magnificent uninterrupted views of Falmouth’s inner harbour across to Flushing, Trefusis Point and the sailing waters of the Carrick Roads with the Roseland Peninsula beyond.

The house was converted to its current format in 1987 by Captain Richard Cuckson, the then captain of the 281ft superyacht Nabila owned by Adnan Khashoggi, one of the richest men in the world at the time.

Nabila (so named after Khashoggi’s daughter) was later sold to Donald and Ivana Trump in 1987, with Cuckson remaining the captain of the renamed Trump Princess, until 1989.

Britons Slip has been in current ownership since 2005.

The house is on the market with Jonathan Cunliffe estate agents.
