Police want to speak with two of the drivers involved in a four-vehicle incident near Scorrier on Easter Sunday.

Emergency services including the police and ambulance service were called to a crash on the B3298 at Tolgullow on Sunday, April 4, at around 1.20pm.

Police said four vehicles were involved indirectly, with two vehicles directly impacting into each other.

The two damaged vehicles remained at the scene, with the driver of one of them being required to be taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has now said: "The officers would ask that the drivers of the two vehicles that were present at the time, but did not remain, also make contact."

Police have also asked anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dash camera footage, and who has not already spoken with officers, to make contact.

Call police on 101 or visit the Devon and Cornwall Police website, quoting log 0438 of 04/04/21.

Once a full examination of the scene was carried out the road was re-opened.

"Police would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed," added the force spokesperson.
