A Cornish charity is hoping to raise money by asking people to put on Bank Holiday barbecues.

Merlin MS Centre is challenging people to turn burgers into bucks and help support people living with long-term neurological conditions by hosting a Bank Holiday Barbeque.

With lockdown rules meaning people can still only meet with others who aren't in their households outside, Merlin MS Centre is urging people to enjoy a catch up over some hot coals (or gas) or get together with their neighbours and host an over-the-fence style get together.

Marketing and Community Events Manager, Ellie May said: "Hosting a barbeque makes for a simple fundraiser as all you have to do is ask your friends or family to donate the cost of a burger or give their loose change.

"Something so simple can help the Centre continue to provide vital services to the people who need it most."
