Two brothers from Falmouth have followed in their father's footsteps into the army after passing their Army basic training within months of each other.
Rylee Metcalf passed off in December 2020 at Winchester and Callum Metcalf passed off in April 2021 at Pirbright.
They were both successful Falmouth Army Cadets, both passing their four star Army Proficiency badges and becoming Colour Serjeants.
Rylee is joining the Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) following in the footsteps of his father, Chris Metcalf and Callum is joining the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC), hopefully in the tank transporter squadron.
Their father, Chris Metcalf was also a Falmouth cadet before going to 2 RTR then after he left the Army he joined Cornwall Army Cadets becoming the Falmouth Detachment Commander and Company Serjeant Major Instructor.
