A teaser for a well-known mini festival in the Helston and Lizard area has been dropped on social media.

Fans of the popular mini-festival The Lizard/Kynance Party were treated to a mysterious message over the weekend.

The techno and drum and bass festival organisers posted a discreet message to followers of the festival's Facebook page on Saturday - telling them all to 'stand by.'

The post would seem to indicate that plans are underway to announce the return of The Lizard Festival, however, no events were confirmed in the update.

The post also seemed to go down well with followers, having picked up hundreds of likes and comments since it was shared later Saturday afternoon.

Posting on social media, followers of the group expressed how they were "Keen for a party" with many enquiring about how they could get hold of tickets.

However, no clues were given up as to how people could get their hands on tickets and the update revealed nothing about potential dates as of yet.

Having had to postpone its last event, Lizard Party organisers will know doubt be looking to build up interest in any events it plans on holding this year.

The organisers behind The Lizard Festival are the same as those who put on the Kynance and Poldark Parties, which have built a strong following since their inception.

The events range from min-festivals to warehouse raves, with local and internationally known DJs playing Techno, drum and bass, and tech house.

Having previously been held in July 2020, organisers could well be waiting to hear more about the easing of lockdown restrictions before making a full announcement.

More information on this event will be reported as and when it is made available.
