This weeks selection of photos comes from the Falmouth History Archive showcases a variety of events from 1974.
The selection begins in an artistic manner, Laurie Miller showing off her craftsmanship and a group of Australian women admiring a painting. We also catch a glimpse of the late David Mudd speaking in front of a packed out crowd. The Falmouthian was a Conservative MP here between 1970-72, and was a much respected member of the community.
The archives also offer us a chance to see the local community dressed to impress. Miss Benson and Hedges 1974, and a married couples Golden Wedding showcasing the people of Falmouth at their finest.
Farm life is also captured in this weeks edition, young Terry Wilkinson poses next to her horse Blue Mink, and a car owner leaves a cheeky message in their rear window.
