A STALKER has been been banned from approaching a woman for ten years and ordered to remove a shipping container, derelict tractor and concrete boulders blocking access to a farm.

Dairy farmer David Michael Eddy, 60 of Treswithian Farm, Treswithian, Camborne was given the ten year Stalking Protection Order after a hearing at Truro Magistrate's Court last week. He was also ordered to pay costs of £3,000 to Devon and Cornwall Police on or before June 16. Eddy had opposed the imposition of the order.

But the court ordered him not to contact Phyllis Eddy or encourage any other person to do so on his behalf save via a solicitor for ten years. Magistrates also ordered him to remove any items (including the shipping container and the derelict tractor, and the concrete boulders) blocking any access to Four Lanes Farm, Higher Kehelland, Camborne by 5pm on June 2.

The court imposed the order because he had 'carried out acts associated with stalking' and that he posed a risk associated with stalking and the order was needed to protect from risk.
