"We have tasked our new Cornwall Councillor with bringing this project to fruition ASAP.

"Further information will be posted here as soon as we know dates."

Cornwall Council will likely have a keen interested in improving road safety in the area after having recently holding a poster design competition for primary school children as part of the 'Be Safe, Be Seen' scheme.

The Council have been contacted for an update on whether plans to install a safe crossing at the site will be followed up on.
