A new train ride is to be unveiled at Flambards Theme Park just in time for May half-term.

It will be all aboard on the Western Mine Train ride, which journeys back 200 years in American history to give visitors a glimpse of life in the Wild West.

The whistle-stop tour of the American Frontier involves travelling through the twisting tunnels of an abandoned mining town to experience the trials and tribulations of the Old West.

"The team have been busy theming the set over the winter season and we are ready to unveil it this May half term."

Local family the Harrimans enjoyed first experience of the ride after winning a VIP trip to the attraction.
