The building, which is stone built and includes a metal gate door, may have potential buyers spending a little bit more than as penny.

Former public conveniences are located in a ‘stunning’ coastal location near Penzance and have been placed for sale by Cornwall Council with a freehold guide price of £20,000 to £25,000.

The ‘loos with a view’ near Trevowhan, Morvah, are just off the B3306 on the northern Cornish coast at the end of the ‘Atlantic highway’, close to Land’s End.

They are among the lots in the fourth auction of 2021 by the regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.

Senior Auction Appraiser Katie Semmens said: “These former public conveniences are in a simply stunning coastal location with truly superb sea views.

“With the benefit of land measuring just under a quarter of an acre, there is potential for a variety of schemes subject to the necessary consents.”

Cornwall Council has instructed the sale of the former WCs and land, which measures 0.22 acres (0.09 hectares).
