A Cornish author of children's books has released their latest adventure book.

Falmouth-based children's author, R.T.J Hockin, is soon to release his latest offering, 'Have you seen Joe? - The Sequel' - a new adventure for kids to read about featuring some familiar characters to fans of the first book.

The book follows on from the adventures of the last book in the Have you seen Joe? series and has our heroes trying to prevent a disaster from occurring in their town.

The book has been described as follows: "Barely cooled off from last summer's adventure, Joe and his friends, Billie and Zack, are looking forward to the May half-term break.

"They are eager to take advantage of the pleasant summer weather by doing fun activities like pier jumping, surfing and kayaking, but fate has different ideas for them.

Author R.T.J Hockin was grew up in Mousehole Cornwall and enjoys spending his time surfing off Gwithian Towans.
