A fatal incident has occurred at Truro train station with a large police presence currently in the area.
A person has died on the railway near Truro this morning with trains being both cancelled and delayed.
A number of British Transport Police officers are also reported to be at the station.
Disruption on services between Truro and Penzance is now expected until 12:00pm.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "‘British Transport Police were called to the line near Truro at 10.15am today (10 June) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
