FIFTEEN people have been arrested by police at a garden nursery near Praze and items including spray paint and scaffolding seized.

Officers swooped on Clowance Wood Nurseries this afternoon (Saturday, June 12) under a warrant carried out under section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

They seized spray paint, scaffolding and gas horns following information received by police.

Fifteen people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit public nuisance and will be taken into police custody for questioning

A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Arrests made following search by police near Camborne. Items were seized by officers.

"15 people have been arrested following a search at Clowance Wood Nurseries in Praze during the afternoon of Saturday 12 June.

"A warrant was carried out under section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act following information received by police.

"Items including spray paint, scaffolding and gas horns were located and have been seized by police."

The arrests come as Ocean Rebellion targeted the ferry moored in Falmouth Docks this evening that is housing police officers brought in for the G7.
