POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with the driver of a car near Camborne.
The collision happened at 10.45am on Thursday, June 10 Chapel Hill, Carn Brea Camborne.
The cyclist, a local woman in her 60s, was forced into the hedge and suffered serious injuries.
A statement issued by Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Chapel Hill, Carn Brea Camborne at 10.45am on Thursday 10 June.
"The cyclist, a local woman aged in her 60s, was cycling from Troon in the direction of Brea Village.
"The cyclist crashed into a hedge suffering serious injuries.
"Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any other information or dashcam footage, to come forward and call 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 438 of 12/06/21."
