A road in Truro has reopened after a crash earlier today after police, paramedics and the fire service were all called to an overturned car.
Traffic was affected on Daniell Road through to the A39 Falmouth Road at Arch Hill after an incident was reported at around quarter past ten this morning (June 24).
The road had been closed in both directions following the crash but has now reportedly been reopened.
The overturned car has now been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:
"Police were called shortly before 10am on Thursday 24 June to Treyew Road, Truro following reports of a single vehicle collision.
"The vehicle had come to rest on its side and the roof had to be removed by the fire service.
"The driver was taken to Treliske hospital for assessment and  discharged.
"The vehicle was recovered and the road cleared shortly after 12pm."
