A Truro hotel launched its Summer Garden Sessions last week with a performance from a Cornish indie duo.

The Alverton Hotel’s Summer Garden Sessions was its first event of the season, marking the start of its summer in Cornwall.

Guests who attended the sold-out event were invited into the hotel’s private gardens and sun-drenched terrace, where they were welcomed by the acoustic tunes of Cornwall based indie duo Our Atlantic Roots, along with a selection of summer drinks created by the bar team.

An assortment of signature summer tapas dishes such as lemon pickled seafood, Napoli salami and fresh strawberries with clotted cream, was also rustled up by the hotel’s team of chefs and served al fresco.
