The cars were reported to have been vandalised all along Road and Killigrew Street causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

Posting on the Falmouth community Facebook page this morning Beca Jayne said: "Hi all, just walking onto town down Trelawney Road to Killigrew Street and someone has smashed a bunch of wing mirrors, really sorry to let you know if one of these is your car.

"I've been trying to get through on 101 to report it but having issues."

She told the Packet: "I wasn't able to get through to 101 so don't have a number for the police and am on a course right now so couldn't stay on hold.

"One was quite close to Dominos pizza hut so hopefully they have CCTV."
