Falmouth Rugby Club has made a decision to keep some of the Covid measurements in place despite so called Freedom Day.

The club has announced it is splitting the clubhouse into two sections with bar and table service clearly defined.

Masks are optional but are mandatory when moving around the table service area and when ordering at the bar. Hand sanitisers will be staying.

NHS Track and Trace is also staying but voluntary and the club will be keeping the windows and doors open as much as possible.

Posting on Fcebook the club said: "If ordering from the bar, a face covering will be required. We have put up screens for the staff but our staff are young and have not been double vaccinated as of yet.

"We know the government has eased restrictions but we want to keep one and all as safe as we can.

"We ask you all to be responsible and respectful to all of our staff and customers.

"Look forward to seeing you inside or outside on our benches."
