Penryn Town Council have announced a number of acts and events that will be featured at next month's Town Fair.
The Penryn Town Fair will be taking place from 1pm to 5pm on August 28 and will be located at Penryn Town Centre with the road closed for the event.
Recently announced by the Town Council to be performing at the Town Fair will be The Motown Pirates, a popular group of musicians who play a range of motown, soul and funk.
A spokesperson for the Council said: "Breaking news: The Motown Pirates will be performing at this year's Penryn Town Fair!
"This fabulous band have played at many festivals and gigs across the country."

As well as The Motown Pirates, also announced to be playing the fair will be Soul Sensations, an eclectic band known for playing music ranging from classic and contemporary motown, R&B, and rock.
The Town Fair will also include Cornish wrestling and classic car show, with a large MG contingent arriving on Broad Street.
The classic car show will be free to enter and participants will all receive a momento from the day.
There will also be a number of different stalls, children's entertainment, a Punch and Judy show, and other attractions.
