Police cordons have been put up around Camborne this morning as police investigate the death of a man under what they believe to be 'suspicious' circumstances.

It is after police were called to Cross Street in the town during the early hours of this morning (Friday).

Police were contacted by the ambulance service at around 12.50am today after concern was expressed for the welfare of a man at an address in Cross Street, Camborne.

The man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The death is currently being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing."

Police cordons are in place in Cross Street and Commercial Square as officers carry out investigations throughout today.
