A community interest company (CIC) is holding a fundraiser in Helston today in order to raise funds for a mental health charity.

The Your Voice, Cornwall CIC have set up a stall at the Monument Market from 10am until 2pm today (Aug 12) to raise money for the Women's Mental Health charity.

The CIC will be selling an assortment of goods, such as books, clothing, CDs, DVDs and greetings cards.

In an update on its social media channel, Your Voice, Cornwall CIC said: "You’ll find us at the Monument Market, 10-2pm.

"We’ll be selling: Books - including lots of fantastic wellness books, alternative therapy books, paperbacks and lots more.

"Clothing - a bit of Seasalt, Boohoo, Pretty Little Thing, etc.

"CDs- Little bit of this and a little bit of that.

The group describes itself as "an organisation that supports Women’s Mental Health, across Cornwall" and looks to make a differences in the lives of those suffering from mental health issues.

Offering support groups, activities and other resources to help women come together and support one another through their mental health challenges, a statement on the groups website says "We can’t promise to fix all of your problems, but we promise to do our best to make sure you don’t face them alone."

Monument Market is held behind the Grylls Monument on Coinagehall Street.
